Targeting a specific audience with design
This is a travel ad campaign. I decided to go with Harajuku in Tokyo, Japan and focus on a specific demographic that would want to go to that particular part of the city.
I chose to do the titles in a sea foam color to contrast all the pink in the photos, while still staying pastel and cute, as the target audience would be drawn to.
I wanted to illustrate femininity and fun in the photos I chose by getting photos of famous places that are trendy (such as the crepe shop), while also picking photos with local women in them, to showcase the people our intended audience could meet on their trip.
